Today is the 70th anniversary of the Marijuana Tax Act. The tax didn’t make the chronic illegal, but the penalty for not paying the tax was so steep that nobody would sell herb on the open market. We here at Chin Chin don’t condone pot, as it can lead to a decrease in alcohol consumption. However, many people we respect (see photos edit: no photo’s, wordpress is being a bitch) have been known to smoke, and out of respect for them we support legalization.
