Following the lead of this blogs founder I left the U.S. for vacation. Right now I’m in the middle of 16 days in Europe and have decided it’s high time to resurect this blog. So as often as I can make it to a computer we’ll be serving up wordly reasons to drink.
For now, Here’s to free booze on international flights!

On this day in 1989, the democratic movement that peacefully changed Mongolia from a dirty red Commie state into a pillar of democracy began. Here’s to you Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj.

Here, they (jensfreethrows.wordpress.com) call it the quote of the day. I think it’s a bit long to call it a quote, its more of a story. But it’s pretty entertaining to hear a guy who makes, I’m guessing here, $15 mil a year talk about having on shoes that are a size too small cause they matched his outfit and sleeping at the gym to make a point after arguing with his GF about a dirty car.

So I was talking to a SoCo promo girl. She was trying to give me a hat, which I did not want. Suprisingly, Southern Comfort came up in the conversation, I said it tastes like peaches, she said it didn’t. I still think it does, liquor flavored peaches, but peaches. I’d like to conduct a survey, but nobody reads the blog. But if you do please chime in with your position on Southern Comfort tasting like peaches.
A toast to anything that tastes like peaches.

After considering this excellent post by WFS about his 3 day weekend I decided to embark on my own little adventure. Armed with with a crew of good freinds from Bellingham, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, and parts unkown I took in a 30th Birthday party for Matt White, The UW Football, The Seahawks football game and managed to survive a great deal of Das Boot flavored debauchery. At some point I even became freindly with a very cute Seattlite woman. During all this madness there were plenty of things to Cheers. For this post I will Cheers Inappropriateness based on the following conversation between “Agent J” and Smoking Hot Waitress just before the UW game :
Agent J muttering under his breath just loud enough for the people at the table to hear: Are you an official? Because your officially giving me a boner.
Smoking Hot Waitress: What? Did you say you want something?
Agent J looking at his wedding ring: Yeah, how about poligamy?
Smoking Hot Waitress: Poligamy?
Agent J: I’ll just have a Bloody Mary.
To Inapropriate behaviour.

It’s Brazilian independence day! Anyone got any good Brazil stories? I bet one can have a good time down there, at one point in my life it was at the top of my travel to list, but has since slipped a bit.
I propose a toast to the Brazilian girl I buy coffee from!
Now for some pics of Brazilian girls who don’t sell me coffee

I’m not a fan of working, but it seems like the best way to celebrate Labor Day would be to work extra hours, not take the day off. But I don’t make the rules, so lets tip one back in honor of working.

Congrats to Kate Ranger-Stevenson & Trent Stevenson, their getting married today. One of the most entertaining couples I know, I’m worried my shoulder injury will keep me from winning the four-square game that will undoubtedly break out at the reception.
I’m trying to think of a nice lie to throw around at the wedding, tricky since a lot of the people there know me very well. It would be fun to try and convince those attending that I got married last weekend during a Ziggy Marley concert, the result of a whirlwind romance with a dirty hippie. This could limit the possible good times available at a wedding with no date. Maybe I’ll have recently become a devout Mormon (don’t worry, I’ll still sneak some drinks). I just need to know where to get the funny underwear.
Here’s to Kate & Trent.

After hi-tailing it out of the home town in early May, I make my triumphant return to the Pacific Northwest tonight. I plan to celebrate with giant slabs of salmon, wearing Birkenstock’s with sox and a North Face fleece, and getting fucking drunk at the world famous Up & Up Tavern. I’ll probably eat a few Dick’s cheeseburgers too.
A toast to the homies who have offered me rides so I don’t have to rent a car like a sucker.

We got over three thousand hits on our previous post on Lindsay Lohan on saturday. That’s a lot of hits for a crappy blog like this. So I thought I would drop Lindsay Lohan’s name a few more times, and thank her for helping us trick people into coming to our site. Lindsay Lohan.
So today’s Chin Chin toast is to all the web traffic Ms. Lohan is bringing us.
