Great News For Stalkers

August 10, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Lets say you’ve been stalking that special someone, but she moved away, she said it was cause you were stalking her, but you know its because she doesn’t know how to handle her strong feelings for you. How could she not love you after you cut her initials into pelvis? So you tried to google her, to track her down. Turns out there are a lot of Mary Smith’s in the world, so its hard to sort through all those pages.

Good news via lifehacker we have spock, which searcheson a name and breaks it out into individuals, like Mary or Chin Chin bloggers. Here’s to Spock, and all the other ways that the interweb helps us, I mean you, stock, er, keep in touch.

July 3, 2007 · 3 Comments

We all know what tomorrow is (unless you aren’t reading this today July 3rd) and I thought I’d drop some links to help you prepare:

  • Red, White and Booze via Lifehacker
  • If you live in SoCal like me, this link might be handy tomorrow night
  • If your hosting tomorrow eHow wants to help with the menu (I didn’t check, it might suck)

I should’ve prepared better for this post and had more than one good link on hand. I’m going to grab a ice cold Busch and toast being prepared.

New Games

June 30, 2007 · 2 Comments

If you are reading this blog I am sure that at some point in your drinking career you have enjoyed a drinking game or seven.  You probably even have your favorite game that you and your partying friends have personalized for yourselves.  Personally I am pretty biased towards flip cup and beer pong.  I enjoy these two games so much that I rarely find the opportunity to play any new games.  Recently I have partaken in a new game which I found to be more than mildly entertaining.  The game is called washers and as far as I can tell originated somewhere in the midwest.  I must say this game is probably towards the top of the short list of good things to come out of the midwest.  It is a game similar to horseshoes but modified so that it can be played anywhere (including indoors).  After realizing the greatness of this game I have come to the conclusion that there are probably many worthy drinking games out there that people may be unaware of.

Todays reason to drink is an interactive reason that will require some assistance from our faithful reader(s).  In the comments section post your favorite drinking game and the rules that go with it.  Then you can choose a new game from the list and that will be the days reason to drink.

DIY: The Shotski

June 28, 2007 · 1 Comment

So a month and change in we’ve finally changed the header from the default. I labored for all of ten minutes. Look to the top of the page, and you’ll know see a few of my boys enjoying a shotski. If you’ve never had the pleasure, it’ll make for a nice weekend project that even the Pitt could pull off. Just get a ski with no binding (you could work around the binding, but working is for suckers), you’re bet off with a long skinny ski. Your dad probably has two leftover from when he rocked the local mountain in the eighties, before his back gave out. Glue some shot glasses to it, grab some friends and your ready to go. But here’s the important part, before imbibing, you have to sing the song:

I’m a little shot-ski, long and slim

Fill me up with liquor to the brim

When your not drunk, no need to pout

Tip me over and pour me out!

So pour one (or four) back in honor of the shot-ski
