Lets say you’ve been stalking that special someone, but she moved away, she said it was cause you were stalking her, but you know its because she doesn’t know how to handle her strong feelings for you. How could she not love you after you cut her initials into pelvis? So you tried to google her, to track her down. Turns out there are a lot of Mary Smith’s in the world, so its hard to sort through all those pages.
Good news via lifehacker we have spock, which searcheson a name and breaks it out into individuals, like Mary or Chin Chin bloggers. Here’s to Spock, and all the other ways that the interweb helps us, I mean you, stock, er, keep in touch.

This blog led me to this website, which told me that this blog is rated PG, based on STP’s use of the word murder. I’d like to think I have some more offensive posts in me, but maybe I’m just a PG kind of guy. Of course, we are more or less all about boozin here, and that seems PG-13.
Here’s to parental guidance!

During one of the many meetings that I attented at work today I was fortunate enough to come into contact with a real live British fellow. In my conversation with him I was able to accertain a piece of information that I had been unsure about since the release of the movie “V For Vendetta”. The question I pondered was this, on Guy Fawkes day in Great Britain are they celebrating the fact that Guy attempted to blow up Parliment or the resultant hanging drawing and quartering that ensued. I was assured by the Limey that they are very much celebrating the man’s attempt to explode the King and not his capture. So Cheers to Disidents! They make the greatest of people.

Today is the 203 anniversary of Aaron Burr popping a cap in Alexander Hamilton’s ass. I feel stupid for not celebrating the bicentennial. After Hamilton refused to recant statements concerning Burr’s character, the latter challenged the former to duel under the code duello.
I’d watch a lot more CSPAN if shit like that still went d

I’m spending my fourth at the beach, so I feel compelled to toast a couple of Frenchman. On July 5th, 1946 the bikini was introduced to the modern world.
Here’s to its inventors, Louis Reard & Jacuis Heim.

According to the morning show on 91-X radio in San Diego, two burglars recently broke into a Florida home. Wait, it gets better. Two siblings, a 15 year old boy and a girl of unmentioned age were home at the time. The girl saw the burglars before they came in and hid…leaving her brother sleeping on the couch.
The burglars went around burgling, until they found a playstation 3 box. This lead to noisier burgling in search of the Playstation 3. This woke up the sleeping 15 year old. Apparently he trains in some kind of martial art. So he went to get his trusty Samurai sword. What did he do with the sword? What does anyone do with a Samurai sword? He cut the fucking burglar. The burglars made a quick escape. They were later apprehended.
Unfortunately for them, there’s no workers comp for burglers, if I get cut with a samurai sword on the job, I won’t go to jail, I’ll get paid vacation. To workers comp.

John Lennon used to be my favorite Beatle, back when I was young, idealistic and listened to the Beattles. The other day I picked up Instant Karma, its a bunch of different artists covering Lennon (solo) tunes. I’m not here to give a cd review, but I definitely dig most of the cuts. The album was put out to raise money and awareness for Amnesty Internationals campaign against all the bad stuff going on in Darfur. Its a noble cause, so buy the cd and sign their online petition (that won’t even cost you anything, so do it).
Then raise a glass to your favorite Beatle, here’s to George.
